This cake was pretty fun and a nice change of pace. I did the outlines with an edible ink marker and hand painted it with gel food coloring. Getting the flesh color just right took a while but luckily I learned through trial and error that color can be removed from fondant, almost erased even. In spots i wasnt happy with, I just wet it liberally with a small paintbrush then dabbed it with a paper towel and most of it comes off. Enough to paint over anyway. The first color I got on her right shoulder looked like Snooki or an Oompa Loompa so I had to start over.
The cake was chocolate with peanut butter mousse and fresh bananas. Flavor wise, this was probably my best cake yet.
